Hi there! It's been a while I didn't write a blog again. I guess the last time I really put myself into the blog it was 2018. Damn me! I used to share part of my life story into the blogs because I love writing. I really do. 2013 was when I started my own blog, where I was shocked a bit when I know my blog reach 10k views. Then I choose to blog over vlog because I think writing can express myself more. And... I should make a COMEBACK to the blog!
So today, I wanna share with you one of the people that I really love. She's my sister, Peggy. I do remember when the first time we met. She still likes 4 or 5 years old. Super clingy to her mom because she never stays in Indonesia before. The weather is way too hot compare to Australia. Also, she has to meet all the unfamiliar faces in the whole family. I remember she keeps saying ''Gao Gao Ji'' (If I'm not mistaken to write that, I don't even know its means.) She even has to go follow her mom when her mom needs to go to the restroom. Then I was like... Okay, so she is my cousin.
The second time we met When she was in Junior high school (If I'm not mistaken). We had fun as children. We play volleyball at our grandparents' house; we watched the cartoon together and ate the cake that my moms made. At that time, I can that Peggy and her brother are good cousins. They are friendly, fun, humble, and full of manner. My mom keeps asking us to learn from them.
Then... We got introduced by social media, especially Facebook. We added each other, we keep sending messages to ask each other since we are like 6,024 km distance between us. That made us really easy to catch up. We keep like each other pictures and posts, support each other, letting each other know about our goals and simple like a normal common cousin. Until November 19th, 2017, I don't know where my guts come from. I make a move to start a convo to her. We chit chat until I feel the vibe was right, I share my life story, including the darkness I'm not sharing with others. The reason why I dare to share all my stories, maybe I always know that she's a kind person and open-minded at the same time. (Or more to say, FATE has brought both of us)
We are super close since then. We share everything, love story, family matter, even something that we can't share with others. We literally share everything. I never take her as a cousin after that. She's more like my biological sister. We always joke around saying that we are soul siblings because the thing that we agree, we disagree, and anything is the same.
Today, September 7th, 2020, is her birthday. I take this special day as one of the important days that I have to celebrate. 2018 I made an Email Letter for her. 2019 I made a voice note for her. And today, I write a blog for her. I know this mightn't mean anything, but I try my best to always make something different to the people that I love and care. She's so precious to me. and I hope one day I can celebrate her birthday directly without that mf distance! (but that mf never make us feel far to each other tho~ hahaha)
Happy birthday dear Mei, Peggy Deng! You are so special in my life, not only for being my lovely sister but also for being one of my best friends. Without you, I would not have made this far. I wish you nothing but the best. I wish your success in your career, study, and love life.
