There’s something special about looking back and realizing how much you’ve grown — not just in what you do, but in who you are.

I started from nothing. I had to learn, unlearn, and rebuild parts of myself I once thought were broken. And through it all, I’ve learned that life isn’t just about the destination.

This moment is about celebrating and embracing the journey — the slow growth, the self-doubt, the small wins that quietly shape you along the way.

I’m thankful for every version of me that kept going when it was hard.

The first year of a new decade.
Every birthday, I’ve made it a tradition to share a current selfie, marking the occasion. In the past, I would fill my reflections with everything I’ve accomplished — the milestones, the stories, the proof of growth.
But this year feels different.
I don’t want to merely look back; I want to be present.

Life moves quickly — sometimes too quickly to notice how the days blend into one another.
People come and go. The world presses forward, relentless.
And we rarely grant ourselves the permission to pause.
Yet, it’s only when time begins to slip through our fingers that we realize the beauty of slowing down —
to observe, to feel, to truly live.

Watching Last Holiday reminded me that life is not meant to be measured by the achievements we collect,
but by the depth with which we experience it.
Moving to a new place was never just a career decision;
it was a choice to heed the quiet whispers of my heart,
even when logic — and others — said otherwise.

If something is worth the challenge, I’d rather take the leap than spend a lifetime wondering, What if?
Because in the end, life is fleeting —
and all I want is to live it fully, honestly, and on my own terms.
Without regret.

Yes, there are a lot of crazy plans ahead — challenges I’ll take on sooner than later.
Here’s hoping this year will be as good to me as I’m ready to be to it.

Too many voices telling me what to do,
what to chase,
who to be.

These recent months made me pause.
Made me start to see myself better.
What I really want to focus on.
Who’s truly in my circle,
who’s worth the effort.

And I wonder—
how many people find the love they dream of?
How many laugh the way we do,
cry because we care too much,
understand each other without words?

Maybe that’s who we are.
Complicated.
Happy.
Free. At the same time.

But still I ask—
how many people are lucky enough to find it?
And how long does it take…
